BIO TECH COMMONS PLANNING

The Biomedical Library at Penn was updating and re-defining its mission in the wake of de-accessioning the printed collections. Bookstacks and private study carrels are being replaced with group study rooms and high-tech learning technology.

Purdy O’Gwynn managed a series of workshops to engage stakeholders and to manage the complex programmatic needs of different departments.

Cost estimates were developed and a computer generated “walk-through” tour was created to assist donors in visualizing the end result.

This proposal was for planning, fundraising, and cost estimating  purposes.
