VISION
When designing a building that supports people's fundamental aspirations for well-being and self-expression, architecture becomes an art. At POMA we try hard to keep the "why" of architecture in mind as we work on the "how" in order to design buildings that make an emotional connection with their inhabitants as a home on earth.

SERVICES
Pre-design: site selection, programming, master planning, feasibility studies, measured drawings, existing conditions analysis. Design: architecture, sustainability, interiors, furniture, signage, site-work. Fundraising: renderings, models, brochures, multi-media.

LINDA O'GWYNN
is drawn to the planning aspect of architecture and focuses on the fit between program and the character of space. She founded the practice in 1994 with an emphasis on residential design and community planning after several years in partnership with Philadelphia architect David C.S. Polk.

TOM PURDY
loves the physicality of architecture and relishes finding conceptual relationships between the whole and the details. He joined POA in 1997 after working in the office of Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates as a manager of complex building projects for library, museum, and university clients.

ADAM MEYERS
is driven to craft visually quiet spaces that foster the joy and energy in everyday life. He combines technical understanding with an innate sensitivity to the felt quality of a space, believing that a well-designed environment intuitively feels right and settles the busy mind. Since he began working with Tom and Linda in 2005, he has contributed his focused, detail-driven approach to the innovative portfolio at the firm. Adam is excited to become a partner at a firm that values thoughtful design and high-quality craftsmanship.
